Terry Balderson represents Legacy® in the US. He is an Adviser to the founder of Legacy® and conducts life history interviews in Florida. He is also a consultant to national political figures as well as a select group of individuals and corporations.
For over 25 years, Terry Balderson worked with Capital Formation Counselors, a management and economic consulting firm, and was President his last 11 years there. Terry Balderson was a founding member of the Board of Overseers of the Institute of World Politics, based in Washington, DC and served on the Board of Trustees of Brevard College and the Board of Advisors of the Bionomics Institute San Rafael, Ca.
His close personal friendships with Dr. Edwards W. Deming, Dr. Norman Borlaug and Newt Gingrich have enabled Terry Balderson to bring a unique perspective to the organizations in which he is involved, including Legacy®. He furthers causes that are important to him, including World Hunger and Nutrition.
He began his career with Touche, Ross, one of the then-Big Eight accounting firms. He later served as Chief Financial Officer of Beloit Tool in Beloit, Wisconsin and then LCL Transit in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
A native of Wisconsin, he earned a Master’s Degree in Accounting at the University of Wisconsin, in Madison, Wisconsin and later taught there while in the PhD program. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He lives in Florida and has two daughters and six grandchildren.
